8th Annual
Celebration for Young Entrepreneurs
September 10, 2009

An event to benefit the programs of
Young Americans Center for Financial Education

Celebration for Young Entrepreneurs is the most unique event you'll attend in Colorado.  Much more than a fundraiser, it is a thrilling competition and program that recognizes some of Colorado's youngest entrepreneurs.

How does this competition work?  A state-wide call for young business owners takes place every spring.  Applications are due mid-June, then a panel of independent judges reads the applications and select one winner and two finalists in each of these age categories: 6-11, 12-14, 15-17, 18-21.  Our 2009 winners and finalists were announced at the ceremony on September 10!  Download your application for the 2010 competition now!

Presenting Mentors - Each winner is paired with an adult business owner who presents the award, and spends time with their winner, sharing business tips and advice.  The 2009 Presenting Mentors were:

Maria Garcia Berry - CRL Associates

Donna Lynne - Kaiser Permanente

Jack Pottle - Viridian Investment Partners

Dick Saunders - Saunders Construction

Attending the event is great fun - a family-friendly night with the opportunity to meet some truly amazing kids and enjoy a delicious dinner followed by an awards ceremony for the winners and finalists. We'd love to have you join us this year - details coming soon!
