Youth Board
The Youth Advisory Board is comprised of 12-15 middle and high school youth who serve in an advisory capacity for a one-year term. They meet monthly and learn about banking, business and philanthropy, while providing a youth perspective on banking services and educational programs.  Learn more about the board.

Adult Board
Young Americans Board of Directors is responsible for the overall performance of Young Americans Bank and the nonprofit programs of Young Americans Center. The board, comprised of 19 directors, meets once a month and determines the strategic direction for the overall organization, approves and monitors policies and operating plans and ensures compliance with laws and regulations.

Young Americans staff includes 35 individuals who bring years of banking, financial, educational, fundraising and communications skills together as one team to further the mission of Young Americans.

Personal bankruptcies jumped 30% in 2005 to 2.1 million people. It was the largest number of bankruptcy petitions ever filed in any 12-month period in the history of the federal courts.
